The Unlucky ShotsThe Unlucky Shots are a band from Western Massachusetts built around the songwriting of Noam Schatz, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has written a new song every two weeks since 2016. Melodic, thoughtful rock rooted in classic songcraft, the music is catchy and tuneful, yet the lyrics point to deeper meanings and feelings. Performing memorable rock songs with an open heart and a philosopher’s mind by Noam Schatz, along with Valley legends Anand Nayak & Jim Bliss.
Wishbone Zoรซ (western mass multi-media legend)Wishbone Zoรซ is the long running solo project of Western, MAโs Zosia Kochanski a project that has covered a lot of ground over the past decade, from gentle acoustic singer/songwriter territory to experimental sound collage and beyond.
An encapsulation of both the natural world and the surreal, itโs often best to expect the unexpected, embracing the art of Kochanski and her collaborators as it evolves. Last yearโs Mirco-Mirage EP offered a delightful dose of sugar spun indie pop that felt both detached and disorienting, taking on new artistic shapes with each passing moment. As brief as it might have been, that record captured the freedom at the core of her music, careening and psychedelic one moment, gentle and dreamy the next.
