Here is a sweet and rare Ibanez RS528, which was part of the Roadstar II series. Very hard to find here in the US since they were only produced for one year and were only available in Japan. This one features the nightmare finish in glossy black with gold hardware and a matching headstock. It has an IBZ humbucker in the bridge position and V7 rail pickups in the middle and neck position. Has common Super Strat features like a locking nut and Ibanez’s Pro Rock’r locking trem.
There is major tarnishing on the hardware and minor dings and scratches shown in the photos. The push-pull tone knob has been replaced with a switch that acts as a tone cut. The trem cavity cover is missing along with the whammy bar. The locking bridge does rest at an angle, but this doesn’t affect anything.
The frets have practically no wear and the action is set low. The pickups sound excellent and the guitar plays even better. A true shredder that you don’t see too often. Comes with an old leather gig bag.
