DEREK SENSALE (VT) When not writing for the Brattleboro-based folk-grass outfit Pinedrop, Derek Sensale writes intimate songs for his own solo work, drawing from the dirt-floor foundation of traditional folk yet blending compositions with modern themes and techniques.
JAKE MCKELVIE (MA) has traveled the DIY touring circuit in the US and UK for over a decade, carving out a niche for himself as a songwriter and performer. Known for his off-kilter “stream of self-consciousness” lyricism, he sings his songs either as a solo performer or with his newly minted backing band, “the New Old Band”. He released his latest LP “A New Kind of Hat” in 2024 and has been touring in support of it since.
MIKE FRAZIER (*On tour from WA*) Mike Frazier hails from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia but relocated to Seattle, Washington in 2022. Frazier is carrying on the tradition of record craft with a focus on authentic songwriting and high quality production. Frazier draws inspiration from the valley he grew up in, his travels around the world, protest movements, and the classic folk music storytelling he is so deeply inspired by.
